Post Race Quote from Robby Gordon
I’m disappointed with our finish. Obviously we came to win but we had a couple of issues with the shocks. It’s the same rebuilt shock package we raced and won with at the 500. It was a simple problem with some undersized threads. It won’t be an issue in the future.

What I’m not disappointed in is how our team performed. My guys prepped an awesome truck. Nothing fell off and nothing broke. Aside from the shock issue the truckran flawlessly and the Menard motor was very good.

It was my first race with Toyo Tires and they were great. They had plenty of grip and the reliability was there which is very reassuring with us headed to Dakar. I really wanted to give them a Baja victory. We’ll see what we can do for them in a month and a half.

I’m going to get some sleep and then I’ll be off to Homestead.”
