Charter Communications Martinsville Advance

Robby Gordon will race the No. 7 Charter Communications Dodge this weekend at Martinsville Speedway. Gordon is 23rd in driver points as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series visits the flat Virginia half mile.

DRIVER ROBBY GORDON QUOTES:

MARTINSVILLE – “Martinsville is one of the toughest tracks we race on. It reminds me a lot of turn 11 at Infineon Raceway only going the other way. Jamming that many cars on that small of track makes track position super important. Our goal is to get a good qualifying run in on Friday and save our car until the end of the race on Sunday. I think you will hear drivers say that about a hundred times this week.”

REMARKS ON BRISTOL: “We were so tight. Everything we did didn’t seem to cure it. But we survived and got a decent finish out of it. We keep grinding out these finishes despite not running like we want. Sitting 23rd right now isn’t bad, but we know we can do even better. We are just 120 points out of the Chase and that’s nothing to make up this early in the season.”

CHARTER ON NO. 7 – “We are excited to have Charter Communications as the primary of the No. 7 this weekend, and we hope to finish strong on Sunday for them.”

APPEARANCES: Robby will be at his souvenir trailer on Sunday morning signing autographs for his fans at 10:30 am.
