Venue: Lowe’s Motor Speedway – Concord, NC

TV/Radio: ABC, 7:30 p.m. EDT and PRN Radio, 7:30 p.m.

  • Welcome Back – This weekend’s event will mark the second appearance of the No. 7 Motorola Digital Audio Players Ford Fusion as the primary sponsor for Gordon. They were last seen on track in Atlanta in the spring. Jim Beam, Menards and Mapei will serve as associates.
  • Back to Yesterday – Robby Gordon Motorsports will run Chassis No. 104 at this weekend’s event. No. 104 acted as the primary at Kansas, where the team finished 19th. Chassis No. 106 will assume back-up duties.
  • Points Position – The No. 7 is currently 28th in owner’s point, just 61 points out of 25th.
  • Help Combat Domestic Violence –Verizon Wireless, Motorola, and Robby Gordon Motorsports have produced two authentic Robby Gordon leather jackets. All proceeds from the jacket sales will be donated to three anti-violence organizations: The North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence, South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, and Tennessee Coalition Against Violence. Each agency provides support to hundreds of domestic violence shelters and rape crisis centers in its state. The jackets are available in various sizes for a cost of $225 and are available for purchase online at: http://midwestgrp.com/rgm/.
  • Appearances –He will be at his merchandise trailer on Saturday, October 13 from 3:45 – 4:15pm.
