Phoenix – November 5, 2000

Phoenix, AZ – A frustrating event for Robby Gordon and Team Gordon began when Gordon lost traction exiting turn four for the green flag on his first qualifying attempt. The car spun around, hit the outside wall and skidded to a stop just before the stripe. In second round qualifying they were unable to get the back-up car up to speed.
