Richmond,
VA – Robby Gordon’s evening at Richmond
was similar to a lot of other drivers as many had trouble with the
right front overheating and cutting the tire. 100 laps in Gordon’s
Flintstones Ford lost the right front and in a shower of sparks
slammed into the turn three wall bending the clip and taking Gordon
out of action for over 100 laps. When he returned the car was competitive
in lap times even though down in the lap chart. Two laps form the
end Gordon again lost the right front tire. He limped back to the
garage with the car on fire finishing 37th.
