Richmond – September 9, 2000

Richmond, VA – Team Gordon continued on its roller coaster with the second event at Richmond. Gordon was unable to qualify the team’s #10 chassis yet again leading to speculation that the car’s geometries were off. It was the car’s third DNQ of the season and dubbed, "The Anchor" following the weekend. For the season’s remaining four races, new points were put on all the team’s chassis.
