ROLEX REPORT
The
Riley Scott team was less than fifteen minutes away from leaving
Daytona Beach with its own Cosmograph Daytona Rolex watches. In

at Daytona it’s only a fraction of a second. more…
Day 1 Update – Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona
Daytona Beach, Florida – 2-1-2002 All
drivers, Jim Mathews, Guy Smith, Scott Sharp and Robby got to
practice the car. The team had to return to it’s Daytona testing
setup after practicing with a setup they aquired after running
the car extremely fast at a Sebring test. Guy Smith, who has the
most time in the cockpit qualified the car 4th. In the evening
session the team picked up the pace – running the second fastest
lap recorded. Today the team will practice. Robby won’t drive
and wil just relax. Although the team was hoping to qualify better
– it’s a 24 hour race and a couple of spots off the start won’t
make a difference.
